Checkbox Input (with Text) enables you to collect additional information from customers during checkout by adding a customizable checkbox and text field. Common use cases include asking customers if their order is a gift, allowing them to provide gift details, or letting them add special delivery instructions. This feature helps merchants gather important customer preferences and information in a seamless, organized way.
Follow the instructions below to setup a Checkbox Input (with Text).
From the dashboard, go to Extensions tab.
In the Extensions page, scroll down and find the extension you'd like to set up and click Add to Checkout.
Open the Settings window, and adjust the content of the Checkbox Input.
Select whether you want customers to be able to input text using the Trigger a text input for a note checkbox.
Change the call to action in the text box and select the default state (checked or unchecked).
In the Install extensions in checkout editor window, enter a custom name (optional).
Click the + icon to copy the Handle to your clipboard.
Hit Save to to ensure your settings and saved.
Open your Checkout Editor and install your extension.
